Special emphasis is directed toward programs designed to promote education in the areas of engineering, science, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science. Limitations:The foundation’s giving is limited to areas of company operations in Idaho, Virginia, Japan, Italy, and Singapore. Program Areas:Community and K-12 GrantsThe foundation supports programs designed to drive advancements in education, with emphasis on science, math, and engineering. Special emphasis is directed toward programs designed to provide opportunities for hands-on experiences; improve teacher content knowledge; support extracurricular science and math opportunities; provide advanced learning opportunities; and address the priorities and concerns of Micron site communities.
